Relaycairn

Done-for-you AI operations

The repetitive work in your business, handled by systems we build and hand over.

Relaycairn designs and builds AI operations systems for owner-operated businesses: lead capture and follow-up, AI agents for inboxes and support, data pipelines between your tools, and reporting that builds itself. Each project starts with a written scope, so you know what you are buying before work begins.

Projects are priced individually in a written proposal. Prefer email? julien@relaycairn.com

Who it is for

Built for owners who are the bottleneck in their own operations.

This is a custom build service, not software you subscribe to. It suits you if the work is real, repeating and costing you time every week.

A good fit

  • You run an owner-operated service, trade, e-commerce or professional business and personally handle too much admin.
  • Enquiries, quotes or support messages arrive faster than anyone can answer them properly.
  • Your data is scattered across a CRM, inbox, spreadsheets and accounting tools that do not talk to each other.
  • You can name the process you want fixed and someone who can give us access to the tools involved.
  • You want a system you own and understand, with a person still approving what matters.

Probably not a fit

  • You want a general chatbot or an AI “strategy deck” without a specific process to improve.
  • You expect AI to make decisions about refunds, legal matters or other high-stakes topics with no human review.
  • You are looking for the cheapest possible tool setup rather than a built and tested system.

Problems we solve

Four kinds of operational drag, one build approach.

Slow or missed lead follow-up

Web forms, emails and calls that sit unanswered. We build capture, qualification, routing and follow-up so every enquiry is logged and gets a considered next step.

Inbox and support overload

AI agents that read, categorise and draft replies from your own information, with clear rules for what goes to a person.

Manual data entry between tools

Data pipelines that move information between your CRM, helpdesk, accounting, booking and spreadsheets, so nobody retypes the same details.

Reporting nobody has time for

Scheduled reports and dashboards drawn from your real systems, so you see the numbers without assembling them by hand.

How a project works

Five stages, and the price is on paper before the build starts.

You decide at each stage whether to continue. Duration and cost depend on your tools and the complexity of the process, which is why they are set in your written proposal rather than on this page.

  1. Discovery call

We talk through the process you want fixed, the tools involved, rough volumes, and what a person must always review. If we are not the right match, we say so.

  2. Written scope with price and timeline

You receive a proposal covering what will be built, what is out of scope, the acceptance criteria, the price and the expected timeline. You review it at your own pace.

  3. Build

We build against the agreed scope using least-access credentials that you create and can revoke. You see progress as it happens, and changes to scope are agreed in writing.

  4. Acceptance test

We test the system with real, redacted examples against the criteria in the scope. You confirm it does what was agreed before it is considered delivered.

  5. Handover and support

You get documentation and a walkthrough so you understand what you own. Ongoing support after handover is set out in the proposal.

How we work

Plain terms, human oversight, no black boxes.

People stay in the loop

Anything sensitive or high-stakes is routed to a person. You define those rules with us during scoping.

Least-access security

We never need your passwords. Access is granted through scoped accounts or API keys you control and can revoke at any time.

You own the result

The build is documented and handed over so you are not locked into a mystery system.

Honest about outcomes

We do not promise specific results. AI output varies, which is why we test against your real examples and keep review points in place.

Questions

Before you apply

How much does a project cost?

It depends on the number of tools, the complexity of the process and how much review logic is needed. After the discovery call, you receive a written proposal with a price. There is no price list on this page by design.

How long does a build take?

We do not quote a standard duration, because it varies with scope and how quickly access and examples are available. The written proposal states the expected timeline for your project.

What do you need from me?

A clear description of the process, a list of the tools involved, a few recent redacted examples, and a person who can approve integrations. Please never send passwords, API keys or customers’ personal data in your application.

Will AI replace my staff?

Our focus is removing repetitive handling work and giving your people better information, with human approval on the decisions you choose to keep.

What happens to my data?

We work only with the access needed for the scoped build. See our privacy policy for how we handle information you send us.

Start here

Tell us about the process you want fixed.

Describe the problem, the tools involved and roughly how often it happens. We read every message personally and reply by email. If it looks like a fit, we will propose a time for a discovery call.

Sending an application does not commit you to anything. A price and timeline come only in a written proposal after we talk.
